Actor, movie maker and Silent Bob Kevin Smith will star in the 'Rave in the Redwoods' DLC for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. He's joined by Ike Barinholtz, Seth Green, Jay Pharoah and Sasheer Zamata.

'Rave in the Redwoods' is a new zombies co-op mode (think Left 4 Dead with laughs) that's part of the 'Sabotage' map pack DLC.

As the new trailer shows it's all about the 90s with a techno rave, a horror movie shoot and a serial killer called the Slasher. And glow paint. Lots of glow paint.

“I told my buddy Jason [Mewes] I was going to be in Call of Duty and he wept tears of joy,” says Smith.

“I used to play Pitfall just because I wanted to be that thin little man jumping over crocodiles, something I could never be in the real world, so ever since I was a little kid I always dreamed of being in a video game.”

Smith is also currently making his own game Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch, with Interabang Entertainment. It's a side-scrolling 2.5D multiplayer brawler and after a raising a bunch of money from crowdfunding it'll be ready to play in 2018.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare 'Sabotage' will be released on January 31 on PlayStation 4.
