Fighting game will be released on September 19 on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One
The universe-merging fighting game Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite will be released on September 19 and today Capcom has decided to introduce us to the story mode's mega villain. Ultron Sigma – a mix of Avengers villain Ultron and Mega Man X's Sigma – is "a psychotic villain is obsessed with infecting all organic life with a cybernetic virus" which pretty much passes the evil plot test.
The trailer also shows off some new characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes, Hawkeye, Hulk, Rocket Raccoon, Thor, and Ultron and Chris Redfield, Chun-Li, Strider Hiryu.
The first of these genre-mashing fighting game collaborations was X-Men vs. Street Fighter back in arcades 1996. The series has been around ever since, adding new characters to the roster and securing positive scores from critics.
If you really really love Marvel vs Capcom there's a $200 Collector's Edition complete with statues of Mega Man X, Chun-Li, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel and a case with your very own Infinity Stones.
