See Skull Kid’s origin story in a short film created by digital studio Ember Lab
Digital studio Ember Lab has Zelda fans' hearts thumping with a little taste of what a full Majora's Mask movie could look like. This teaser, uploaded yesterday, tells the story of Skull Kid’s origin, the main antagonist from the classic Nintendo 64 game The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
"A labor of love for all those involved, this film is a gift for all Zelda fans," says Ember Lab.
Last year there were rumors of a possible Legend Of Zelda Netflix series but the Nintendo CEO at the time, the late Satoru Iwata, stepped in to quash those hopes.
Ember Labs' previous work includes sci-fi/fantasy concept film Dust, mobile game Crabs and Penguins and the visual effects for web series Bite Me from Machinima.
