Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield are back in a CGI movie and ready to save New York
There's a new trailer for Resident Evil Vendetta, a CGI feature starring zombie series' regular duo, Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield. The project gets horror kudos for being executive produced by Takashi Shimizu, who created the Japanese Ju-on supernatural horror series as well as the American remake, The Grudge.
It's been a bumper couple of months for Resi fans with Resident Evil 7 appearing on consoles, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in movie theaters and now Resident Evil Vendetta is on its way. The movie will be released in Japan in March (as Biohazard Vendetta) and in the US in Summer.
In the movie, directed by Takanori Tsujimoto, Kennedy and Redfield have to save New York from the zombie virus and Umbrella's new boss Glenn "merchant of death" Arias. There also as appearance from Rebecca Chambers, who despite being one of the newer characters in the series has already survived giant centipedes, crows, monkeys, snakes and of course, zombies.
