A haunted hospital and a missing vital organ set the scene for this Oculus exclusive
We've all been there. You wake up and your heart has been replaced by some sinister and mysterious device. That's the premise for spooky, noir thriller Wilson's Heart, a virtual reality game released on Oculus today. This launch trailer will give you a taste of the monochromatic horror on offer.
The setting for the game is a 1940's hospital and the main character is Robert Wilson, the guy with the missing heart. You'll also encounter surgeon Bela Belasco, medical researcher Elsa Walcott and a murderous teddy bear called Boris. The cast includes Peter Weller from RoboCop and Star Trek: Into Darkness, Rosario Dawson of Sin City, Luke Cage and Iron Fist and Alfred Molina of Spider-Man 2 and Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark. Movie composer Christopher Young – who has worked on Hellraiser, Drag Me To Hell and Sinister – provides the music.
The game was created exclusively for Oculus Rift by Austin, Texas studio Twisted Pixel. Before Wilson's Heart it released racing battle game LocoCycle and shooter The Gunstringer.
